Teaching the Next Generation of Event Strategists

Devon leads applied, strategy-first courses for two of the industry's leading associations: MPI and PCMA.

Most event planners are excellent logisticians. Very few are ever taught how to think strategically, how to connect a room, an agenda, or a leadership offsite to a business outcome that survives past the closing session. That is the gap these two courses were built to close.

I teach event professionals to move from executing someone else's plan to designing the strategy themselves: reading a business goal, translating it into an experience, and proving it worked. Both courses below are built the way I run my own client work, practical, framework-driven, and grounded in real event scenarios rather than theory.

This teaching work draws on the same SPARK framework I use with Fortune 500 clients and leadership teams as a strategic facilitator and event MC. See how I bring that thinking into a live room on the Services page.
